(Arnolds Park)– The Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce has once again established a couple of drop-off sites for Christmas trees, wreaths and any other natural holiday greenery. Semi trailers are located in the parking lot at the Arnolds Park Amusement Park and in the lot at the Dickinson County Expo Building.
All lights and decorations need to be removed.
The natural trees and greenery will be used in the burning of the greens for this year’s University of Okoboji Winter Games.
And speaking of Winter Games, cheerleader nominations are still being accepted up until 5:00 pm this Friday, December 31st. Nomination forms are available at uofowintergames.com under the “cheerleader” tab or at the Chamber office in Arnolds Park.
The 42nd annual University of Okoboji Winter Games will be held January 27th-30th.
