(Milford)– We’re learning additional details into Thursday’s shooting at a parking lot in Milford that left a woman critically injured.
The victim is confirmed as being Shelby Woizeschke of Spencer. She was treated for multiple gunshot wounds at Lakes Regional Healthcare and was transferred to Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls where she was in critical condition.
According to court affidavits, Woizeschke and the suspect accused of shooting her, 25-year-old Christian William Goyne-Yarns, had previously been in a relationship and have two children.
Goyne-Yarns was arrested a short time after Thursday’s incident and was charged with attempted murder. He remains in the Dickinson county jail. Bond was originally set at $500,000 but online court documents show that has now been amended to one million dollars cash only. A preliminary hearing for Goyne-Yarns is scheduled for 4:00 pm February 14th in Dickinson County District Court.
