I-90 Semi Rollover Sends Two People To Hospital; Dumps Carpet Into Median

November 22, 2014

(Worthington, Mn.)– Two people were injured Wednesday when a semi tractor-trailer left the road and overturned on Interstate 90 in Nobles county.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 49-year-old Richard Hershberger of Crossville, Alabama was westbound on the snow-covered road when he lost control. The semi tractor-trailer left the road and went into a median where it rolled. The trailer split open and its cargo…some carpeting…spilled into the median.

Hershberger and a passenger, 26-year-old Harold Belefont of Crossville, Alabama, were taken to the Luverne Hospital where they were treated for minor injuries and released.

The semi tractor and trailer were totaled.

The mishap took place around 8:20 a.m. just east of Adrian.
