I-90 Crash Results In Minor Injuries To South Dakota Man

(Worthington, Mn.)– A South Dakota man was injured in a single-vehicle crash early this (Tuesday) morning on Interstate 90 west of Worthington.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 22-year-old Matthew Everett of Baltic, South Dakota was driving a 2004 Chevrolet pickup eastbound when he swerved to miss a deer. Everett then lost control. The vehicle went into the ditch and hit a sign and caught on fire.

Everett was taken to the Worthington hospital where he was treated for a minor injury.

The vehicle was totalled.

The mishap took place shortly after 4:00 a.m.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office.
