(Fairmont, Mn.)– A two-vehicle collision Tuesday on Interstate 90 on the eastbound lanes at Highway 15 in Martin county sent several people to the hospital…one with serious injuries.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 62-year-old James Montgomery of Sherburn was attempting to make a left turn at a crossover when his vehicle was struck by one driven by 59-year-old Diane Stockdill of Garrison, North Dakota. The vehicle Stockdill was driving then rolled over.
Stockdill and a passenger in her vehicle, 59-year-old Timothy Stockdill of Garrison, North Dakota, were taken to the Fairmont hospital where they were treated for minor injuries and released.
Another passenger in the Stockdill vehicle, 22-year-old Scott Stockdill of Fargo, North Dakota, was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with serious injuries.
No injuries were reported to Montgomery.
Moderate damage was reported to a 1980 Mercury driven by Montgomery; a 2004 Chevrolet driven by Stockdill was totaled.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Fairmont Police Department and the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.
