Hwy 60 Mishap Results In Minor Injuries

(Brewster, Mn.)– A two-vehicle mishap Saturday evening on Highway 60 near Brewster sent one person to the hospital.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 19-year-old Lauren Appley of Akron, Iowa was traveling southwest when she broadsided a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Donna Macmain of Fulda, Minnesota.

Macmain was taken by ambulance to the Worthington hospital where she was treated for some bumps and bruises. No injuries were reported to Appley.

Moderate damage was reported to a 2005 Dodge pickup driven by Appley; severe damage was reported to a 1991 Buick driven by Macmain.

The mishap took place shortly after 6:00 p.m. Saturday.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by Brewster Rescue and the Worthington ambulance.
