Hwy 60 Mishap Results In Considerable Damage, No Injuries

(Heron Lake, Mn.)– No injuries were reported, but there was a considerable amount of property damage in a two-vehicle mishap that took place Friday in Jackson county.

The Minnesota State Patrol says vehicles driven by 56-year-old Mary Hagan of Sioux Falls and 58-year-old Norma Heidt of Mott, North Dakota were involved in a broadside collision at the intersection of Highway 60 and County Road Nine in Heron Lake.

Moderate damage was reported to a 2004 Nissan driven by Hagan with severe damage to a 1998 Buick driven by Heidt.

The mishap took place shortly before 8:00 p.m.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Heron Lake Police Department.
