(Hartley)– A weekend motorcycle accident in Hartley has claimed the life of an Arnolds Park man.
The Hartley Police Department says 53-year-old Rick Reuland of Arnolds Park was driving a 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on Central Avenue in Hartley Saturday when he lost control and struck a tree.
Reuland was taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital where he died of his injuries.
The Hartley Police Department was assisted by the Iowa State Patrol, Hartley Fire Department and Hartley ambulance.
