(Lake Park)– Tim Christiansen, Superintendent of the Harris-Lake Park School District, announced today (Wed.) he’s leaving the district after five years at the helm.
Christiansen tells KUOO news he’s accepted the Superintendent position with the Jefferson-Scranton School District in central Iowa. He starts his new job July 1st.
Christiansen says he’s leaving the Harris-Lake Park District with mixed feelings. He says he’s proud of the changes that took place during his tenure, including the various building projects and increased cooperation between the school and city.
