Fox Causes Two Motorcycles To Collide In Jackson County

(Jackson, Mn.)– Minor injuries were reported in a mishap Sunday on Interstate 90 in Jackson county involving two motorcycles and a fox.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 44-year-old Manueal Poza of Spain was driving a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle eastbound on I-90 near milepost 71 when he collided with a fox.

Authorities say the motorcycle Poza was operating was then rear-ended by another 2006 Harley Davidson operated by 45-year-old Carlos Sanz Aldea, also of Spain.

No injuries were reported to Poza; Sanz Aldea sustained some bruises and abrasions, but didn’t seek immediate treatment.

Authorities say both drivers were wearing helmets.

The motorcycle driven by Poza sustained severe damage; moderate damage was reported to the one driven by Sanz Aldea.

The mishap took place shortly before 1:00 p.m.
