(Spirit Lake)– Former Spirit Lake Mayor Eric Nielsen has been selected as Grand Marshal for this year’s MainSail-A-Bration parade June 7th.
Nielsen, who served on the city council from 1983 to 1988 and as Mayor from 1988 to 2007, remains active on several city committees, including the Betterment Committee, which he chairs.
He’s also active in a number of civic organizations.
