(Des Moines)– A former Clay County Extension Education Coordinator has been inducted into the 2008 Iowa Hall of Fame.
Dave Hessman was inducted during a ceremony this past Saturday at the Iowa State Fair.
Hessman says the satisfaction of working and volunteering with youth and seeing them obtain the training they need for their chosen career and then seeing the success is what he enjoyed the most about his work.
82 Iowa counties selected inductees for their outstanding service and dedication to 4-H.
Inductees were selected based on their exceptional work in contributing to the lives of 4-H members and the overall 4-H program.
