(Spencer)– Some fire hydrant flushing will be taking place in the coming weeks in Spencer.
Officials with Spencer Municipal Utilities say it will affect the northeast side of Spencer, in the area of Park Street to East 30th Street and Grand Avenue to 10th Avenue East.
Residents in the affected area are being told to put in their basement sewer plugs and to expect the possibility of temporary low water pressure and some discoloration of water while the flushing is taking place.
