(Spencer)– A house was damaged by fire Wednesday afternoon in Spencer. Firefighters were called to 1418 4th Avenue West a little after 3:30 pm and found a fire burning in the living room. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to that area of the home, but some damage was reported to the remainder.
Some people in the residence at the time were able to get out unharmed. An ambulance was called to the location as a precaution.
A cause hasn’t been determined.
Crews were on the scene about an hour.
