(Spirit Lake)– If losing a few inches around the waist line is one of your new year’s resolutions, the Spirit Lake MainSail Chamber of Commerce can help out.
MainSail Coordinator Blaine Andera says the annual “Fat Chance Challenge” gets underway January 8th and will run eight weeks. Each team consists of eight people. The team captain will be responsible for weighing-in team members every Monday and will call in results to the MainSail office.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top four teams that lose the most weight. The entry fee is 40-dollars per team or five dollars per individual. Andera says 100 percent of the entry fees will be paid back in prizes.
