(Spencer)– The execution of an arrest warrant has resulted in drug charges against two men.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says it stems from Thursday evening when deputies went to 35 West First Street, apartment three in Spencer to execute an arrest warrant on 22-year-old Tony Steece of Spencer. Steece was wanted on a Clay county warrant for theft in the second degree.
Upon arriving deputies found drug paraphernalia lying in plain view. At that point, an additional charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was filed against Steece.
Another person in the residence, 19-year-old Zebulon Donnell of Rembrandt, was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Steece was booked into the Clay county jail; Donnell was charged and released on a promise to appear in court.
