(Estherville)– The Estherville City Council Monday evening tabled action on a proposal that would allow the city to convert to Iowa Code Chapter 45 election provisions. The move would allow the city to drop its current requirement for run-off elections to be held when certain thresholds aren’t met. Several council members said they want to research the matter further.
