“Sip the Ville” will be held in Estherville next week, KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:
The Estherville Area Chamber of Commerce will host their “Sip the Ville” event on Thursday, October 14.
Executive Director Lexie Ruter says participating businesses will be offering samples and specials. “Sip the Ville is coming up on Thursday, October 14th. Come downtown, sip, sample and shop your way through downtown Estherville. It’s a ton of fun. You get to sample different wines from all over, our stores will have appetizers, desserts and snacks, and then, if you go to all of the stops, which there’s 14 stops this year, you can get entered to win this giant grand prize giveaway that has gift certificates and prizes from all the participating businesses.”
She adds that there are a couple of ways to purchase tickets. “So, a ticket to join us is $12, and you can purchase that online right now through our facebook event, or at the Chamber Office. At the Chamber Office, it’s check or cash only, and online it’s credit card. It’s $12 per person, that does include a commemorative glass and your guide to all the spots.”
The event will run from 4-8 pm Thursday evening in Estherville.
