(Okoboji)– The Iowa Department of Natural Resources will hold a series of meetings in February to review the recently completed hunting and trapping seasons and to discuss proposed changes to hunting and trapping rules and regulations, along with other topics. One of those sessions will be held in the Iowa Great Lakes. It’s scheduled for 6:00 pm Tuesday, February 22nd at the Monarch Lodge, just west of the Dickinson County Nature Center. Todd Bishop, chief of the DNR’s Wildlife Bureau, says the meetings are an important part of the rule making process.
