November 22, 2014

(Everly)– Charges have been filed against two people after a Clay county sheriff’s deputy found a vehicle in a ditch.

The Sheriff’s Office says a deputy on routine patrol Wednesday evening discovered the vehicle in the area of 330th Street and Main Street in Everly.

Upon investigating, the deputy determined the vehicle had allegedly been operated by 25-year-old Clay Carlson of Everly who was charged with operating while intoxicated, first offense; failure to maintain control; and interference with official acts.

Carlson was arrested and booked into the Clay county jail.

In addition, authorities say Heather Dillingham, age and address unknown, was also arrested and charged with interference with official acts. She was also booked into jail.
