Dickinson Supervisors Approve Purchase Of Audio/Visual Equipment

November 22, 2014

(Spirit Lake)– The Dickinson county board of supervisors Tuesday unanimously approved the purchase of 53,700-dollars in audio/visual equipment for the supervisors meeting room and community room in the new courthouse.

The equipment will be purchased from a Sioux Falls firm.

The quote came in several thousand dollars below an engineer’s estimate.

Supervisors also Tuesday approved a petition allowing the Nature Center to annex in to the Iowa Great Lakes Sanitary Sewer District. The action will allow the facility to connect to the Sanitary District’s main line.

The county’s Conservation Board had been looking into numerous options for getting some sort of sewer service so the Nature Center can get its restrooms hooked up.
