(Spirit Lake)– Elected officials in Dickinson county will be getting a four percent across-the-board pay hike in the upcoming fiscal year.
The Dickinson county board of supervisors Tuesday voted unanimously in favor of the increase, which is down from five percent recommended by the county’s Compensation Board.
The supervisors also approved an 800-dollar stipend for the year for the Chairman of the board of supervisors. That’s down from the one-thousand dollar amount recommended by the Compensation Board.
The vote was four-to-one with chairman David Gottsche voting no.
