(Arnolds Park)– That series of community visioning meetings in Dickinson county resumes this Sunday at the Arnolds Pavilion. It starts at 2:30 p.m. and will conclude around 4:30.
There will be a brief welcome and description of the plan and purpose of the meeting. Participants will then break up into small groups to work on their “vision” for Dickinson county in 2026. After about a half-hour each table will report to the entire gathering. The meeting coordinator will then summarize suggestions and explain the next steps toward a final meeting in the “visioning” process in August.
Two additional meetings for specialized interest groups will be held Monday, June 5th. The first one begins at 10:00 a.m. at the Dickinson County Community Building. It’s intended primarily for agricultural interests. The other is designed for all Rotary and Kiwanis club members in the county. It will be held at Noon Monday (June 5th) at the Arnolds Park Pavilion. Those attending that session are asked to RSVP for meals by calling 332-7177.
