(Spirit Lake)– Last Thursday’s shooting in Milford has a majority of local businesses, industries, schools, and other entities, both private and governmental, re-visiting active shooter policies and drills. Dickinson county is among them. Supervisor Kim Wermersen reported at today’s (Tues.) Board of Supervisors meeting an active shooter drill held in the courthouse Wednesday of last week, outside of regular hours. But he says he was deeply disappointed in that only four county employees were on hand for it…
Wermersen added he would like to see the drills done during actual business hours…
Wermersen added they owe it to the public and employees alike.
