Dickinson County Nature Center to kick off 2022 Nature Tots Program January 12

January 03, 2022 Becky Thoreson

Dickinson County Conservation has announced an upcoming Nature Tots Program. KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:

The Dickinson County Nature Center will kick off their Nature Tots Program on Wednesday, January 12th.

Community Relations Coordinator Jessica Bode says registration is now online:

“Nature Tots is a monthly program that the Nature Center offers. It’s the second Wednesday of every month and we have two time slots. So, we have our 10:30 am group, and then we have a 1:30 in the afternoon group, as well. Starting in January, we have online registration for those, so you can visit our website to register, and it’s a program that’s geared toward 2 to 5 years old, and younger siblings are welcome to come along as well with their parents. There’s a variety of activities throughout the program. It lasts for about an hour. So, for our January program, our theme is among the stars, and we are going to be learning about stars and space. So, they’ll start with a story reading, and then they’re going to do a fun activity to learn about the planets and the stars. We do ask people to preregister which they can do online, and it is a free program.”
