Dickinson County Asbestos Removal Project Results In Fines From DNR

(Des Moines)– A South Dakota company is in trouble with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources over how it removed asbestos from Oak Haven Care Facility, which is owned by Dickinson county.

The DNR says Mid-States Asbestos Removal agreed to pay a six-thousand dollar fine in connection with the project.

Details into the nature of the violations weren’t released.
