(Spirit Lake)– Spirit Lake attorney Jason Carlstrom has won the Republican nomination for Dickinson County Attorney, defeating Melanie Summers-Bauler in Tuesday’s Primary Election. Carlstrom received 1,319 votes while Summers-Bauler had 559.
No one had filed for the office on the Democratic ticket.
For the District one seat on the Dickinson county board of supervisors, Bill Leupold won the Republican nomination and will face Democrat Ken Eckerman in November. Eckerman was unopposed in Tuesday’s Democratic primary. Leupold received 291 votes while Bob Cosens had 116 and Gilbert Zahren received 75.
