(Spirit Lake)– The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office has released details into a single vehicle accident back on August 28th near Terril that injured one person.
Authorities say 17-year-old Kelsey Mortenson of Terril was driving a 2004 GMC Envoy and swerved to miss a dog that was in the road. Mortenson lost control of the vehicle, which left the road and rolled.
Mortensen was taken to Lakes Regional Healthcare. There was no word on the extent of injuries.
Mortenson was cited for failure to maintain control.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by the Lakes Regional Healthcare ambulance, Terril ambulance and rescue and the Terril Fire Department.
