(Spirit Lake)– A Sioux Falls man was arrested over the weekend for his fifth OWI after a Dickinson county sheriff’s deputy clocked him going 108 miles-per-hour as he was westbound on Highway nine toward Lake Park.
32-year-old Christopher Aaron of Sioux Falls was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated…fifth offense, after the deputy managed to pull him over about three miles east of Lake Park.
Aaron was also cited for excessive speed, 53-miles per-hour over the posted limit; and reckless driving.
Aaron was booked into the Dickinson county jail.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Spirit Lake Police Department.
The incident took place around 8:20 p.m. Saturday.
