(Spencer)– Time is running out to apply for grants through the Clay County Community Foundation. The deadline is this coming Tuesday, January 15th.
Non-profit organizations and local government entities are encouraged to submit grant applications for projects that positively impact quality of life in Clay county.
In February 2007, 19 programs and projects were awarded slightly more than 50-thousand dollars in grants. For 2008 the Clay County Community Foundation anticipates having atleast 57-thousand dollars to distribute thanks to the Iowa Legislature and local donors.
Grant applications are available at the Clay County Extension Office, Clay County Auditor’s Office or at any library or city hall in Clay county.
