Customer Service Workshop To Be Held Later This Week

(Spirit Lake)– Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Dickinson County will be putting on a special event later this week for those involved in customer service. Amy Benge says they’ll be putting on a workshop on Wednesday for those involved in that sector of the workforce…

“So this is a workshop geared toward the frontline staff and managers of retail services and hospitality businesses. It’s October 27th from 2:00 until 3:00 pm and it will be at our office in Spirit Lake. We’re going to talk about best practices in attracting and retaining customers. It’s designed for those frontline employees and managers who interact with the public in places like retail services, convenience stores, restaurants, lodging and attractions. Workshop participants will be able to learn how to inspire more travelers to stop in their communities, stay longer and keep returning.”
