(Emmetsburg)– A Curlew man has been charged in connection with a sexual abuse investigation in Palo Alto county.
The Sheriff’s Office says 44-year-old David Koenck turned himself in Wednesday after being charged last Friday with sexual abuse in the second degree…a class “B” felony.
Authorities say the charge is the result of their investigation into the alleged sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office and Department of Human Services say the report of the alleged abuse was received back in April of this year.
Koenck was released from custody after posting bond of 32,500-dollars.
