Crash At I-90 Rest Area Results In Minor Injuries

(Adrian, Mn.)– A single-vehicle crash Thursday on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 90 at the Adrian rest area resulted in minor injuries to two people.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 53-year-old Byron Takahashi of Elgin, Illinois was pulling into the rest area when he lost control.

Takahashi and a passenger, 14-year-old Kimberly Takahashi, were taken to Sanford Hospital in Worthington where they were treated and released.

An estimate of damage to a 1995 BMW Takahashi was driving wasn’t available.

The mishap took place shortly after 2:30 p.m.

Troopers were assisted by the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office.
