(Spirit Lake)– Demolition of Dickinson county’s old courthouse continues to make good progress.
Crews earlier this week started tearing down the original part of the structure built in 1891. As of this (Wednesday) morning, all that was left was the extreme north side of the building and the tower.
Crews hope to have the demolition completed in another couple of weeks. Following that, construction on the second phase of the new courthouse will get underway.
