(Sheldon)– Officials with Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon recently broke ground on a new housing complex and a Radiology Technology addition.
Lyon Hall…a new suite-style housing complex…is scheduled to open this coming August. It will house 45 students. Each suite will consist of two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen/living area. A recreation facility, computer lab and laundry facilities will also be included, along with other amenities.
The Radiologic Technology addition will be built on to building “H”. It will house classrooms for nursing, emergency medical technicians and continuing education.
The Radiologic Technology Program at NCC started in the fall of 2005. It had been temporarily located in building “C” on the college’s campus. The Radiologic Technology addition is scheduled to open this coming October.
