(Mountain Lake, Mn.)– A single-vehicle mishap early this (Tuesday) morning on Highway 60 in southwest Minnesota resulted in minor injuries.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 54-year-old William Wittet of Windom was driving a 1991 Chevrolet Suburban when his visibility was greatly reduced after meeting a semi.
The vehicle left the road and went into the median where it collided with a guard rail and became stuck on the rail.
No injuries were reported to Wittet. A passenger, 24-year-old Kara Dauer of Mountain Lake, was taken to the Windom hospital where she was treated for minor injuries and released.
Moderate damage was reported to the vehicle.
The mishap took place shortly after 1:00 a.m. on Highway 60 just west of Mountain Lake.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Mountain Lake Police Department.
