(Sheldon)– A two-vehicle collision around 5:00 p.m. Friday in Sheldon sent two people to the hospital.
The Iowa State Patrol says vehicles driven by 70-year-old Harvey Moret of Sheldon and 31-year-old Daniel Vanregenmorter of Ashton collided at the intersection of Highway 18 and Country Club Road.
Both drivers were taken by ambulance to the Sheldon hospital with incapacitating injuries.
Authorities say Vanregenmorter was partially ejected from his vehicle.
10-thousand dollars in damage was estimated to a 1997 Oldsmobile driven by Moret; a 1984 Chevrolet driven by Vanregenmorter sustained an estimated five thousand dollars in damage.
