(Okoboji)– A two-vehicle collision late Monday afternoon at the intersection of Sunner Avenue, or the YMCA Road, and 175th Street, or Stakeout Road, resulted in minor injuries to two people.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 62-year-old Warren Truman of Spirit Lake was eastbound on 175th Street and 63-year-old Margie Riggen of Arnolds Park was southbound on Sunner Avenue when the two collided in the intersection.
Truman was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare; Riggen was taken to the hospital by private vehicle. Both were treated for what was described as non-incapacitating injuries.
A 2002 Chevrolet pickup Truman was driving sustained an estimated seven thousand dollars in damage; five thousand dollars in damage was estimated to a 2003 Ford Taurus driven by Riggen.
The mishap took place around 3:46 p.m.
