Clay County Woman Charged With Identity Theft

November 22, 2014

(Spencer)– An investigation into complaints of identity theft has landed a Clay county woman in jail.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 30-year-old Irene De Lagunes was arrested around 11:00 a.m. Thursday on charges of identity theft…a class “D” felony…and forgery…an aggravated misdemeanor.

Authorities say it stems from an investigation into complaints of identity theft received from two employees at the Heartland Poultry Plant.
