Clay Co. Traffic Stop Results In Drug Charge Against Ft. Dodge Woman

November 22, 2014

(Spencer)– A traffic stop Thursday evening on county road M-27 in Clay county landed a Fort Dodge woman in jail on a drug charge.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle for speeding shortly after 8:00 p.m.

A consent search of the vehicle resulted in the deputy finding what’s alleged to be marijuana.

24-year-old Jamie Turnquist of Fort Dodge was arrested and charged with speeding and possession of a controlled substance.

Turnquist later posted bond and was released.
