(Spencer)—Minor injuries were reported Wednesday in a single-vehicle mishap on Highway 71 in Clay county.
The Sheriff’s Office says 35-year-old Susan Seabrook of Estherville was northbound when she attempted to pass another vehicle on the ice-covered road and lost control.
The 1998 Ford Expedition Seabrook was driving went into the east ditch sideways and rolled 360 degrees, coming to rest on its tires.
Seabrook sustained some minor cuts but wasn’t immediately taken to a hospital.
3,500-dollars in damage was estimated to the vehicle.
The mishap took place shortly after 8:00 a.m.
Seabrook was cited for failure to maintain control.
