(Spencer)– Two people wanted on warrants in connection with a rash of burglaries in Clay county are now in custody.
18-year-old Kylie Marble of Spencer was wanted on six counts of burglary in the third degree…a class “D” felony. She turned herself in Tuesday to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office. Marble was booked into jail on 58,500-dollars bond.
52-year-old Doris Bliek of Spencer was wanted on three counts of third degree burglary…a class “D” felony…in connection with the same ring. A deputy arrested Bliek at her home Monday. She was booked into the Clay county jail on 29,250-dollars bond.
Marble, Bliek and three others were charged last month after search warrants were executed on two residences in Spencer. Authorities say they recovered a large amount of items taken in various residential burglaries in Clay county.
The arrests culminated a six-month investigation.
