Clay Co. Burglary Investigation Nets Six People So Far

(Spencer)– A six-month investigation into several burglaries in Clay county has resulted in the recovery of several thousand dollars in stolen property and in the arrests of five people so far.

Clay County Sheriff Randy Krukow says based on information obtained through investigations, deputies obtained two search warrants that were executed Tuesday of this week on residences at 1522 West Third Street and 402 and-a-half West Fourth Street in Spencer. Krukow says deputies recovered a number of items that were taken in the burglaries.

Those arrested so far include 20-year-old Sharvar Lee, 34-year-old Gabriel Utrera-Cedillo, 18-year-old Kylie Marble, 34-year-old Stephanie Eubanks and 52-year-old Doris Bliek…all of Spencer.

Lee and Bliek were charged with theft in the first degree; Utrera-Cedillo and Eubanks were charged with theft in the first degree and burglary in the third degree; Marble was charged with theft in the first degree, burglary in the third degree, interference with official acts and possession of marijuana.

Krukow says the investigation continues and more arrests are expected.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Clay County Attorney’s Office and the Spencer Police Department.
