(Okoboji)– Another court battle could be looming for the city of Okoboji.
A group calling itself “Concerned Citizens of Okoboji” Thursday officially announced it’s filed an appeal over the city of Okoboji’s issuance of a building permit allowing for a multi-million dollar project at the Inn to proceed.
The announcement came at a meeting of some 150 people the group hosted late Thursday afternoon at the Lauridsen Theatre at the Pearson Lakes Art Center.
The city’s Board of Adjustment will hear the appeal at a public hearing at date to be announced.
Either side that loses the appeal before the Board of Adjustment can then appeal to district court.
