(Sheldon)– Police in Sheldon think they’ve solved some car burglaries that took place between March 28th and April 4th of this year in Sheldon.
Authorities say charges have been filed against three teens–one is a 17-year-old male juvenile from Sheldon; the other is 18-year-old Marc Gibbons of Sanborn. The juvenile was charged with eight counts of burglary in the third degree; Gibbons was charged with three counts of burglary in the third degree.
Police say several car stereos and other items taken in the burglaries were found when they executed a search warrant on the juvenile’s vehicle and residence.
Police say their investigation continues as several other car burglaries remain unsolved. Anyone with information into any of those should contact O’Brien County Crimestoppers at (712) 957-3415. Callers can remain anonymous. A 200-dollar reward is being offered for any information that leads to an arrest.
