Car vs Semi Collision Sends One Person To Hospital (1)

(Sibley)– A collision this (Wednesday) morning on Highway 60 in Osceola county involving a car and a semi sent one person to the hospital.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 80-year-old Rosanne Klarenbeck of Sheldon was northbound on Highway 60 in the right lane and 63-year-old daniel Schwebach of Adrian, Minnesota was northbound in the left lane. Deputies say Klarenbeck switched lanes and failed to see the semi, running into its side.

Klarenbeck was taken by ambulance to the Osceola Community Hospital in Sibley with minor injuries.

No injuries were reported to Schwebach.

Five thousand dollars in damage was estimated to a 1993 Ford Taurus driven by Klarenbeck; 10-thousand dollars in damage was estimated to a 1996 Freightliner semi driven by Schwebach.

The mishap took place around 11:20 a.m. on Highway 60 a quarter-of-a-mile north of county road A46 east of Ashton.
