(Worthington, Mn.)– A crash Thursday evening on Highway 60 near Brewster in Nobles county has claimed a life.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a 2005 Chevrolet passenger car collided head-on with a 1998 Kenworth semi loaded with concrete bridge pilings.
The driver of the car, a 71-year-old woman from Worthington, was killed in the crash. Her name hasn’t been released pending notification of relatives. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi, 43-year-old Ricky Otten of Lennox, South Dakota, wasn’t injured.
Both the car and semi were totaled.
The crash took place shortly after 9:30 p.m.
