(Okoboji)– No injuries were reported Friday when a car crashed into the front of a real estate office in Okoboji.
Okoboji police say Terese Sorrensen of Okoboji was parking a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee in front of the Mary Lynn Ingvall real estate office at the Okoboji Plaza when her foot slipped off the brake and hit the accelerator, causing the vehicle to lunge forward a few feet into the building.
No one was in the office at the time, but some people in the post office next door were startled.
Damage to the vehicle was estimated at roughly 4,500-dollars; damage to the building, owned by Eastview Investments of Okoboji, was estimated at 10-thousand dollars.
The mishap took place around 8:42 a.m.
