(Spirit Lake)– No injuries were reported when a car collided with a building Monday in Spirit Lake.
Spirit Lake police say it happened when the driver accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake when entering a parking lot at 2304 30th Street. The vehicle then collided with the Chozen and Saunders Law Office. Fortunately, neither the driver nor anyone in the building was hurt.
About a thousand dollars in damage was estimated to the car; the building sustained an estimated five thousand dollars in damage.
The mishap took place shortly after 9:00 a.m.
