(Algona)– A bridge replacement project scheduled to start next week will result in a stretch of Highway 169 north of Highway 18 near Algona being closed to traffic. The Iowa Department of Transportation says the project over Black Cat Creek is scheduled to start Monday, April 11th, weather permitting, and will continue until September 30th.
D.O.T officials say a detour will be in place for the duration of the project.
